• Some changes starting today at The Deli: The Queen Creek restaurant (pictured above) is now open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Doors won’t close at 7, but they won’t be seating anyone after that time. And yes, it also means there will be a Saturday breakfast menu that’ll be unveiled later this week.
• Portobellini (grilled portobello mushroom with roasted peppers, basil pesto, garlic and kasseri cheese, pictured), Ravioli Salad, Salonika Chicken, Tortellini Gianni, and The Morning After will be the five featured menu items at this Thursday’s Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe dinner in Gilbert. Cost is $25 per person. Add five wine pairings for another $8.
• Moylan’s brewmaster Denise Jones makes an appearance from 6-8 tonight at Papago with her Novato, Calif., brewery’s Pomegranate Wheat, Chelsea’s Porter (nitro), White Christmas, and special Harvest IPA (featuring exclusively estate-grown hops picked by Moylan’s).

• Night of the Living Red, a seasonal imperial red ale, is back on tap at SanTan Brewing in downtown Chandler. The beer is part of a promotional tie-in with the Broadway musical “The Addams Family” this week at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, and also is available at some East Valley restaurants and bars.
• Longhorn Steakhouse officially opens to the public today in the eastside parking lot of Fiesta Mall in Mesa. It marks the return of the national chain to the Arizona (story).
• The Arizona Department of Liquor Licensing and Control is investigating Tempe bar Cadillac Ranch for possible underage drinking in the wake of an ASU student’s disappearance, according to this Tribune story.
• Whole Foods Chandler hosts a beer dinner at 6:30 tonight with Sierra Nevada chef Micheal Iles. The five-course dinner is $29.99. See the menu here.
