BLD: Restaurant will be open until 9 p.m. as usual on Monday and Tuesday. Specials haven’t been announced.
Bread Connection: Bakery’s retail shop will be open normal 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday with an assortment of breads, rolls, and pastries. Closed on Tuesday.
Brooklyn Eddie’s Subs: Grab your tasty subs and chicken soup during the day because the shop closes at 5 p.m. Monday and reopens Wednesday. Info: 480-539-3333.
Cork: A special four-course menu will offer a choice of three entrees: prime beef tenderloin, pan-seared steelhead, or roasted wild boar rack. There will be two seatings – 5:30-6 p.m. ($75) and 8-8:30 p.m. ($95); the second seating includes party favors and champagne toast. Reservations: 480-883-3773.
DownUnder Wines & Bistro: Highlights of the evening will be a gourmet buffet and two musicians followed by a DJ. Get food, two drinks, party favors, bubbles at midnight, and live music for $85 per person. For an additional charge, there also will be an oyster bar and a suckling pig. Flancer’s: Both the Gilbert and Mesa locations will be open regular hours, which means until 9 p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday. No holiday specials.
Handlebar Pub & Grill: Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Hungry Monk: Festivities will include a prime rib special, rare beer tappings, and champagne toasts at 10 p.m. and midnight. Regular hours on Tuesday.
Iguana Mack’s: Playboy Mansion Party will feature drink specials, no cover until 9 p.m., and sexy staff dressed in their Playboy best. Surf and turf feast ($16.95) will include salad, bread, shrimp, filet medallions, broccoli, a side of your choice, dessert and a champagne toast. Reservation: 480-899-6735.
Latitude Eight: Thai restaurant doesn’t plan to be open Monday or Tuesday, but is willing to open Monday night for a large group.
Lucky Break: Neighborhood New Year’s Eve will emphasize “no hassle, no cover, no traffic, and no drama.” In addition to regular menu, there also will be a special $12.95 steak dinner and a champagne toast at midnight. Info: 480-345-1000.
Nicantoni’s: Besides the regular Monday specials ($1 off manicotti, meatballs, merlot and Menabrea), there will be happy hour all day until closing early at 7 p.m. Closed on Tuesday.
Pittsburgh Willy’s: Hot dog shop will be open normal hours – 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. No specials are planned, but a new specialty dog, the spicy Willy Wing Ding Dog, will debut Tuesday.
Romeo’s Euro Cafe: Restaurant will be open normal Monday hours – 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. – but no specials are planned. Closed on Tuesday.
SanTan Brewing: In addition to regular menu, there will be New Year’s Eve specials like smoked prime rib and lobster tacos, as well as a champagne toast at midnight. The brewpub will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Tott’s Asian Diner: No specials are planned, but restaurant will be open normal hours – 10:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. – Monday and Tuesday.
