Turns out some lightheadedness I was having was caused by an irregular heartbeat. It was an electrical “short-circuit” doctors say I was born with, but didn’t become apparent until this month.
The condition wasn’t life-threatening, but I spent six days in the hospital while they ran about a million tests and, ultimately, did a simple, non-invasive procedure to permanently fix the problem.
