Saturday: Great Arizona Beer Festival in Tempe

Just two weeks after the Arizona Strong Beer Festival, beer lovers are gearing up for The Great Arizona Beer Festival from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at Tempe Beach Park.

Beer: 50 breweries will be pouring samples of more than 200 craft beers. Local breweries will include Four Peaks, SanTan, Desert Eagle, Phoenix Ale, and Fate.

Food: Local vendors and food trucks including The Grilled Cheese Truck, Spice It Up and Hao Bao.

Entertainment: Live music will be provided by Tommy Anderson (1-2:15), Big Nick & the Gila Monsters (2:15-4), and The Groove Merchants (4:15-6).

How much: General admission is $45, which include souvenir sampling mug and 24 tickets for 3-ounce tastes. VIP admission is $85, which includes early admission at 1 p.m., catered food, and private restrooms.

The cause: The fest is the annual fundraiser for Sun Sounds of Arizona, a non-profit that provides audio information for the sight-impaired.

FYI: No infants, children, strollers, or pets will be allowed into the 21-and-older event.
