Whole Foods Chandler to host Pitcher of Nectar Rare Beer Festival on Saturday

Sample rare beers from more than 25 breweries around the U.S. and overseas Saturday when the Watering Hole, the craft beer bar at Whole Foods Chandler, hosts the Pitcher of Nectar Distributing Spring Rare Beer Festival.

Beers will include Bo & Luke, a Russian imperial stout collaboration between Louisville’s Against the Grain and the Netherland’s De Molen; Pot Kettle Black, an American black ale from New Zealand’s Yeastie Boys; and Dude Will Abide, a “Big Lebowski”-inspired double IPA from Switzerland’s Bad Attitude.

Other notables will be Marin Brass Knuckle double IPA from Larkspur, Calif.; Upright Nos. 4-7 from Portland, Ore.; and Walk on Water strong ale from Denmark’s Mikkeller. See the full list here.

The event runs 3-7 p.m. Cost is $10 for 14 tickets (pours). You can purchase additional tickets for $2 apiece.
