Romeo’s Choice Skins will be the opener of the five featured dishes at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection of five dishes from the Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
“Taste of Romeo’s†menu
- Romeo’s Choice Skins: Italian sausage, onions, peppers, and mushrooms covered in melted provolone. Served with yogurt dressing.
- Broiled Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken tossed with artichokes, roasted red peppers, black olives, green onions, and walnuts on a bed of lettuce with a lemon-mustard sauce.
- Shellfish Tortellini: Shrimp and scallops sautéed with red peppers, peas, capers, water chestnuts and almonds in a wine cream sauce.
- Goat Shrimp: Bacon-wrapped jumbo shrimp with feta and sun-dried tomato stuffing. Served with sauteed vegetables, garlic, lemon, and herbs over pasta.
- Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake: Creamy cheesecake made with real raspberry puree.
