ATL Wings Your Way closes in Gilbert

ATL Wings Your Way has closed its Gilbert restaurant on the southeast corner of McQueen and Elliot in Gilbert. According to a post on the franchise concept’s Facebook page, the store was sold in January, but the new owner was forced to close because for health reasons.

ATL Wings was launched in Atlanta (hence, the “ATL”) in 1995 by Anthony Yates, who moved to the East Valley about two years ago to relaunch his concept. Yates is looking for a new owner to take over the Gilbert restaurant, which offers chicken wings in nine flavors.

There’s also an ATL Wings Your Way in Tucson. An ATL Wings at Arizona and Warner in Chandler has the same name and nearly identical menu, but is not associated with the organization.
