As 4/20 approaches, it’s time to wonder: “Where’s Waldo?” Specifically, Waldo’s Special Ale, a limited-release double IPA (9.2% ABV) from Lagunitas Brewing.
The northern California brewery introduced Waldo’s – which it calls the “dankest and hoppiest beer ever brewed at Lagunitas” – last April. It quickly won over craft beer drinkers, who’ve awarded it an average score of 98 (out of 100) on RateBeer.com.
Check it out for yourself on 4/20 – next Saturday – when Lucky Break in Tempe taps a keg, per the brewey’s request, at 4:20 p.m. Pints will be sold for $4.20.
