All Baja Fresh restaurants in Valley mysteriously close over the weekend

All five Valley locations of Baja Fresh Mexican Grill – including two in Tempe and another in Chandler – mysteriously closed their doors over the weekend.

No one was more surprised than the Irvine, Calif.-based chain’s marketing director Jerry DeLucia, who tells the Phoenix Business Journal:

“We’re currently trying to reach our franchise owner there in Phoenix for clarification and information. At this time we’re as in the dark as you are.”

Baja Fresh restaurants in other parts of Arizona remain open.
