Learn to dry-age your beef or make your own bacon at Go Lb. Salt classes

BaconGo Lb. Salt, Aaron and Liz Eckburg’s Gilbert-based business specializing in premium salts, is offering a series of salt-related cooking classes over the next few months.

“BYO Beef” is a three-session course (Thursday, May 2, and May 15) on dry-aging your own beef at home. Cost is $110, which includes a dry-aging kit.

“Makin’ Bacon” is a two-session course (April 25 and May 9) on curing your own bacon at home. Cost is $110, which includes a pound of pork belly and 4 ounces of Rub Yer Belly cure.

“Cooking with Saltware” is a single-session class (May 23) on cooking on a Himalayan salt block. Cost is $110, which includes a 6-inch-by-8-inch salt block.

“Joy of Black Truffle Salt” is a single-session class on truffles and their culinary uses. Cost is $50, which includes 2 ounces of black truffle salt.

“Sea Salt Tasting & Pairing” is a single-session class on using salt in food preparation. Cost is $45, which includes a sample pack.
