Port Brewing will be the subject of this week’s Friday Beer Class at Whole Foods Chandler. If this sounds kinda familiar, it may be because Port was supposed to appear at last week’s class, but canceled at the last-minute.
So the suburban San Diego brewery was rescheduled and will sample eight beers, including seasonals High Tide IPA, Hop 15 double IPA, Midnight Expression (formerly Midnight Sessions) black lager, and Hot Rocks dark stein lager.
The other four will be from its Lost Abbey line of Belgian-inspired beers: Carnevale and Red Barn saisons, Judgment Day quadrupel, and Red Poppy barrel-aged sour.
The informal tasting, which costs $5, starts at 7 p.m. and is open to anyone 21 or over.
