Several East Valley restaurants will participate in the first-ever Eight’s “Check, Please! Arizona” Festival this Sunday at CityScape in downtown Phoenix.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the outdoor event will showcase two dozen restaurants featured during the first three seasons of the local PBS television show “Check, Please! Arizona” (pictured).
East Valley representatives will include Pittsburgh Willy’s, Flancer’s, Four Peaks Brewing, Pomegranate Cafe, Cornish Pasty, and Mucho Gusto.
Restaurants will be providing food samples. There will be stage demonstrations by local chefs. Seminars will be conducted on food, wine, and craft beer.
Tickets are $60 for general admission – which includes samples of food, wine, and beer – and $100 for VIP. The latter includes early admission, premium parking, and a special seminar with four James Beard Award-winning chefs.
