Mellow Mushroom, the Georgia-based pizzeria chain known for its extensive lineup of craft beers, is moving into the former Rock Bottom Brewery building on Ray Road, just west of I-10, in Ahwatukee.
It’ll be the hippie-themed concept’s fourth Arizona location since coming to the state in 2010. Others are in Tempe – where 48 beers are on tap – and two in Phoenix.
Mellow Mushroom’s offers 16 specialty pizzas with monikers such as Kosmic Karma, Magical Mystery Tour, and Philosophers Pie. The menu also has salads, sandwiches, and calzones.
The Ahwatukee location is expected to open this fall.
