Move over, beer schools – Fibber Magees to host whiskey school May 28

Informational tastings known as “beer schools” have become quite popular at East Valley craft beer bars. Now there’s “whiskey school.”

Fibber Magees, the Irish restaurant and pub in Chandler, holds its “first period” class entitled “A Tour of Scotland” from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

Certified whiskey master Tom Turner will take attendees on a taste trip of Oban 14, Dalwhinnie 15, Craggenmore 12, Talisker 10, Lagavulin 16, and Glenkinchie 12.
