Food Network personality Alton Brown has announced his first-ever tour – dubbed “Alton Brown Live! The Edible Inevitable Tour” – and it includes a stop on Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Mesa Art Center.
Brown, best-known for his show “Good Eats” and his commentary on “Iron Chef America,” won the James Beard Award for Best TV Food Personality in 2011.
His 90-minute tour show is described on its website as “a unique blend of stand up comedy, food experimentation, talk show antics, multimedia lecture, and, for the first time … live music.”

Arizona Brewery Tours is putting together a “Father’s Day Beer-cation Tour” featuring stops a three local breweries – North Mountain, OHSO, and Four Peaks. The tour, which will lasts 4-5 hours, will include brunch, beer samples, and behind-the-scenes tours for $89.
Monday Night Movie: ‘Gangster Squad’
“Gangster Squad,” a 2013 action-crime release starring Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, and Sean Penn, will be the Monday Night Movie at SanTan Brewing. Enjoy drink specials and free popcorn while watching on the brewery’s seven HD screens. Showtime is 10 p.m.
