Sam Pillsbury, Barrelhouse team up for wine dinner June 27 in Chandler

Southern Arizona winemaker Sam Pillsbury (above, wearing white hat) will be the guest of honor at a Pillsbury Wine dinner Thursday, June 27, at Barrelhouse American Kitchen & Cocktails in Chandler.

Pillsbury Wine dinner menu

• Tropical gulf shrimp ceviche with mango, lemongrass, basil, and corn tortilla (with “Wildchild” white blend)
• Strawberry-pecan salad with watercress, comte cheese, pickled red onion and hone-citrus vinaigrette (“One Night Stand” rose<)
• Hickory-smoked short ribs with watermelon barbeque sauce, apple jicama slaw, and white cheddar grits (“The Diva” syrah blend)
• Dessert TBA
