Transylvania Chicken and Vasco De Gama (pictured) will be two of five featured dishes at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
“Taste of Romeo’s†menu
- Bacon Skins: Mountain of crispy bacon topped with mild cheddar cheese. Served with yogurt dressing.
- Chef Salad: Turkey, ham, Swiss and provolone cheese, crisp bacon, artichokes hearts, and olives on salad greens. Choice of dressing.
- Transylvania Chicken: Grilled chicken breast, layered with roasted eggplant, roasted peppers, roasted garlic, pine nuts and black peppercorns. Rosemary, chilled balsamic beans, and tomato-feta foccacia
- Vasco De Gama: Sautéed chicken and gulf shrimp with carrots, mushrooms, green onions, sun-dried tomatoes & whole black peppercorns in a creamy curry, mustard seed sauce with bow tie pasta and pistachios.
