It’ll be craft beer vs. wine when Vintage 95 Wine Lounge hosts a four-course “Grapes & Grains” summer dinner Thursday, June 27, in downtown Chandler. Each course will be paired with a beer from nearby SanTan Brewing and a glass of wine.
Grapes & Grains dinner menu
- Poke with Hawaiian-seasoned ahi tuna in a fried wonton skin (paired with SanTan Sunspot Gold and Illahe Vineyards 2011 Gruner Veltliner “Estate”)
- Pork rib tenderbelly spare ribs with sriracha BBQ and compressed watermelon (SanTan HopShck IPA and Hobo Wine Co. 2011 “Folk Machine”)
- Kalbi skirt steak with pineapple fried rice and Mr. Pineapple onion rings (SanTan Mr. Pineapple wheat beer and Field Recordings 2011 “Fiction” red blend)
- Haupia Hawaiian coconut pudding in a short dough crust with chocolate Gordo Stout sauce (SanTan Gordo Stout and Selbach-Oster Spatlese 2011)
