If you’re one of those people who feels the need for speed, you might want to race over to Nicantoni’s Pizza in Gilbert tonight for its annual Ferrari Night. The special event for Scuderia Southwest will feature 20 to 30 Ferraris and Lamborghinis.

How rare are these famed Italian sports cars? Since Ferrari was founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929, fewer than 130,000 have built built, an average of about 1,500 per year. Lamborghini made around 300 cars a year until introducing its more-accessible Gallardo model in 2003.

Tonight’s event, which is free and open to the public, will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. People are invited to bring their cameras. Specials will include an extended “Ora de Felice” (happy hour), $1 off Nicantoni’s New York-style specialty pizzas and wine, and $3 wheat beers.

Nicantoni’s is located on the northeast corner of McQueen and Warner in Gilbert.
