Tempe’s Top of the Rock to host guest chef ‘summer suppers’ on Thursdays

Top of the Rock, the restaurant at the Buttes Marriott Resort in Tempe, is hosting a series of guest chef  “summer suppers” called Chef’s Collection starting this week. Every Thursday through Aug. 29, a Valley chef will prepare a three-course, prix-fixe meal for $35 with optional beer and wine pairings available.

“My idea for Chef’s Collection was to engage the community and offer something a little out of the ordinary,” says Gregory Wiener, executive chef at The Buttes. “We have a wealth of local culinary talent here in the Phoenix metro region, and I thought it would be fun for everyone – both guests and chefs alike – to get out of their comfort zone and mix things up for one night.”
