Top of the Rock, the restaurant at the Buttes Marriott Resort in Tempe, is hosting a series of guest chef  “summer suppers” called Chef’s Collection starting this week. Every Thursday through Aug. 29, a Valley chef will prepare a three-course, prix-fixe meal for $35 with optional beer and wine pairings available.
“My idea for Chef’s Collection was to engage the community and offer something a little out of the ordinary,†says Gregory Wiener, executive chef at The Buttes. “We have a wealth of local culinary talent here in the Phoenix metro region, and I thought it would be fun for everyone – both guests and chefs alike – to get out of their comfort zone and mix things up for one night.â€

- Thursday: Kelly Fletcher, House of Tricks (pictured on left)
- July 18: Stephen Toevs, The Ritz-Carlton
- July 25: Stephen Jones, Blue Hound
- Aug. 1: Mel Mecinas, Talavera
- Aug. 8: Aaron May, Praying Monk
- Aug. 15: James Porter, Petite Maison (pictured in center)
- Aug. 22: Beau MacMillan, Elements (pictured on right)
- Aug. 29: Brian Archibald, Renaissance
