Wednesday is Chompie’s fourth annual Customer Appreciation Day, and its four Valley locations will be selling its signature Jewish Sliders for just 99 cents apiece from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The sliders are mini challah rolls filled with lean brisket, mini potato pancakes, and Jack cheese, served with a side of brown gravy. They regularly sell for $3.99 apiece or three for $11.99.
The sliders received national attention when Adam Richman, host of the Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food,” attempted Chompie’s Ultimate Slider Challenge – trying to eat 12 original Jewish Sliders and a mound of fried onion strings in 30 minutes – at the Tempe location in March 2010.
Last year, Chompie’s sold 11,495 Jewish Sliders on its Customer Appreciation Day, a record it hopes to break this year.
