How well do you know your American vodkas? Find out Saturday when BLDÂ in Chandler hosts a blind tasting in its new private dining room a 5 p.m. The event will last about an hour.
For $30*, you’ll receive samples of five different brands of American vodkas, plus a plate of four or five traditional vodka noshes like oysters, smoked salmon, and roe.
Participants will rank the vodkas in order of preference before learning the identity and information about each from BLD general manager Brent Shinyeda.
“I think people are going to be very surprised,” Shinyeda says. “They’re going to discover they get a bottle of really good vodka for $10 less than Ketel or (Grey) Goose.”
