Meet brewers from BJ’s, Borderlands this weekend at Whole Foods Chandler

BJ’s and Borderlands will be the subjects of weekend beer classes at Whole Foods Chandler:

• At 7 p.m. Friday, BJ’s will be featured in the store’s weekly Friday Beer Class. Meet brewer Derek “Doc” Osborne and sample several of his beers – including barrel-aged Grand Cru, Imperial IPA, and a firkin of Jeremiah Red strong ale dry-hopped with Falconers Flight hops – for $5.

• At 6 p.m. Saturday, meet the brewer Blake Collins from Borderlands and taste the Tucson brewery’s newest additions – Jasmine Sour and Citrana. Noche Dulce vanilla porter, Prickly Pear Wheat, Santa Rita amber, and La Morena nut brown also will be on tap. Sample all six for $5.
