Salad and Go, the Valley’s first drive-through gourmet salad bar that opened in Gilbert in February, will start offering breakfast in mid-August, owner Roushan Christofellis tells MXSW.
“We have had great success making drive-through fast food better and healthier during lunch and dinner, but breakfast is currently the fastest growing day-part in this market space,” she says.
Christofellis is partnering with nearby Bergies Coffee Roast House to create a breakfast menu with items like:
• Bergies organic hot and iced coffee
• Warm berry quinoa bowls
• Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and house-made granola
• Healthy and delicious breakfast wraps
In addition, Salad and Go’s full menu of chef-created salads and wraps will be available during breakfast hours, allowing early-morning commuters to pick up a healthy meal for lunch later.
