31 burgers, 31 days: Liberty Market’s annual Burger Daze starts Thursday

The annual “Burger Daze” promotion starts Thursday at Liberty Market. The downtown Gilbert restaurant will offer a different specialty burger every day during August.

The always-popular Tot Burger, topped with tater tots and cheese (pictured on left), starts things off on Thursday. Other highlights this year: a Chilaquiles Burger (Aug. 13), a Poutine Burger (Aug. 17), and a Chips & Dip Burger (Aug. 21).

The lineup also includes “burgers” made with salmon (pictured in center), turkey, pork, and crab (pictured on right), as well as a quinoa-stuffed portobello cap (Aug. 7) and a red bean and rice patty (Aug. 27). There’s also a Sonoran Dog (Aug. 3) and a Spanish Grilled Cheese (Aug. 9).

Anyone who eats 10 different burgers during the month will receive a $25 Liberty Market gift card. If you eat all 31, you get a $100 gift card.

Prices of each specialty burger will vary depending on the market price of ingredients that week.

  • Tot Burger: Topped with tater tots and American cheese (Thursday, Aug. 1)
  • Burrata Sicilian Burger: With burrata cheese, marinara, Sicilian sausage, and basil (Friday, Aug. 2)
  • Sonoran Dog: All-beef hot dog with bacon, beans, tomatoes, red onion, and pickled mustard seeds (Saturday, Aug. 3)
  • Weekender Burger: Topped with cheese, breakfast potatoes, and a sunny side up egg (Sunday, Aug. 4)
  • Kraut Burger: With sauerkraut and house-made 1000 Island dressing on a rye bun (Monday, Aug. 5)
  • Spicy Salmon Burger: Ground salmon patty with spicy aioli on potato bun (Tuesday, Aug. 6)
  • Quinoa Stuffed Porto Burger: Roasted portobello cap stuffed with lemon herb quinoa (Wednesday, Aug. 7)
  • Turkey Teriyaki Burger: Ground turkey patty with teriyaki aioli, Asian slaw, and toasted sesame seeds (Thursday, Aug. 8)
  • Spanish Grilled Cheese: Grilled cheese sandwich with chorizo, manchego, mozzarella, and tomatoes (Friday, Aug. 9)
  • Po Boy: Crab cakes with and tabasco aioli on a demi baguette (Saturday, Aug. 10)
  • Mushroom, Blue & Red Burger: With sautéed mushrooms, crumbled blue cheese, and red wine jus (Sunday, Aug. 11)
  • Roast Garlic Butter Burger: With garlic and herb butter on an onion roll (Monday, Aug. 12)
