Gelato Dolce Vita has closed its store at SanTan Village in Gilbert, explaining on its Facebook page the landlord refused to renew its lease:
To all our Gilbert fans: Our lease is up – we had no option to renew. So, this is our last weekend at our Gilbert location, closing this Sunday, July 28th. We want to thank all of our loyal fans who have made these 3 years a success and a joy to be there.
The original Mesa location at Higley and Brown in northeast Mesa remains open.
Besides gelato, Gelato Dolce Vita also serves housemade tiramisu, cannolis, and espresso drinks.
