Here’s a novel concept: The House of Brews (pictured during renovations) is paying attention to the brews.
The Gilbert restaurant and bar already has closed twice this year under two different owners. Part of the problem? The 26 tap handles were dominated by domestic macrobrews (Bud, Coors, Miller, etc.) Not what many people expected, given the place’s name.
Now taking the reins, though, is veteran Valley bar owner Buzz Bezuyen, who plans to reopen Monday. He wants to remain a neighborhood bar and grill, but also offer more choices to craft beer drinkers.
