It’s been a year since World of Beer tapped its first keg in the Arizona, and the Mill Avenue bar is celebrating its anniversary this week with four days of fun.
Today, a Firestone Walker Party will feature Union Jack, Double Jack, Wookey Jack, Pale 31, Pivo Pils, and unfiltered DBA on tap all day. Some special FW beers, such as Parabola, Double DBA, Sucuba, and Sixteen, will be tapped between 7-9 p.m.
On Thursday and Friday, WOB will roll out some coveted kegs it’s been holding back for the occasion. These will include North Coast Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin XV, Sierra Nevada Narwhal, Deschutes Black Butte XXV and 2012 Abyss, Odell Wooden Sidecar and Amuste, Green Flash Super Freak and Little Freak, Epic Big Bad Baptist, Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA and Red & White, Nectar Black Xantus, The Bruery White Oak, and more.
On Saturday, an Arizona tap takeover will feature 58 beers from 26 Arizona breweries. Of special note will be the debut of Beer of the World of Beer, a spiced amber brewed by SanTan Brewing exclusively for World of Beer.
