Jimmy & Joe’s Pizzeria is opening another location – its third – next month in the Safeway shopping Center at 48th Street and Elliot in Ahwatukee.
The space formerly housed Naked Pizza for two years until its closure in March.
Terry Black opened the first Kimmy & Joe’s on the northeast corner of McClintock and Ray in Chandler in 2007, and added another, run by daughter Amy, on the northeast corner of Dobson and Baseline in Mesa in 2011.
Black plans to apply for a beer and wine license for the Ahwatukee location after it opens in mid-September.
