Chandler fine-dining restaurant Cork restarts its monthly Sunday tasting dinners with a Taste of Morocco menu on Sunday, Aug. 25.
Taste of Morocco menu:
- Optional starter: Merguez sausage with spicy tomato sauce (add $10)
- 1st course: Moroccan carrot soup with sweet potato, preserved lemon, and turmeric crème
- 2nd course: Frisee salad with oranges, radish, almonds, Medjool dates, cinnamon, and orange flower water
- 3rd course (option 1): Lamb shank tagine with corn, wheat berry, squash, and saffron
- 3rd course (option 2): Cous cous with shiitake, cucumber, eggplant , dried apricot, spices, and serrano
- 3rd course (option 3): Chicken & olives with picholine , tomato, chickpeas, rice, and parsley
- 4th course: Rosewater ice cream with almond crescent cookies
The prix fixe dinner will be $35 per person. Three wine pairings can be added for an additional $15. RSVP: 480-883-3773.
