World of Beer and Stone Brewing are teaming up for a nationwide “Stonehenge Simul-Tapping,” for which the San Diego brewery has recreated its Ruination IPA Grapefruit Slam, previously only available at the brewery.
The brew, which will be tapped at 4 p.m. Arizona time Thursday at all 45 World of Beer locations, is Stone Ruination IPA dry-hopped with grapefruit peel. It only will be available at the WOB events.
Each WOB also will have a varying roster of other Stone beers. In Tempe, it will include the just-released R&R Coconut IPA, a collaboration with two San Diego home brewers and Rip Current Brewing from San Marcos, Calif.
