El Palacio has a shelf of trophies for its delicious salsas. Pittsburgh Willy’s has a wall of best-of awards for its specialty hot dogs. Now the two Chandler eateries are joining forces.
The result is the El Palacio Grande, a quarter-pound all-beef dog with mild green chilies, smoked bacon, guacamole, cheddar cheese, and El Palacio’s picante salsa (pictured top right). It’s available all month at both restaurants.
“I’m a big fan of Randy’s hot dogs and I know he loves my salsa, so we figured it was time for a fun collaboration,†says El Palacio owner and chef Anthony Serrano (top left with Pittsburgh Willy’s owner Randy Walters)
The El Palacio Grande is just one of nine hot dogs El Palacio offers during football season every year. Others include a chimichanga dog (bottom right), carnitas dog (bottom left), fajita dog, enchilada dog, and shrimp cocktail dog.
