Table 49 closes in south Chandler, will re-open as Va Bene in October

Table 49, which opened in the former Sautee building on the northeast corner of Alma School and Chandler Heights in south Chandler, has closed after just seven months.

The restaurant, which offered modern contemporary American cuisine, was a new concept from Sasha Cosic, owner of popular Italian restaurant Va Bene in Ahwatukee.

A telephone recording at Table 49 says the 7,500-square-foot building will re-open the first week of October as a second Va Bene.
