This week’s ‘Taste of Romeo’s’ menu: Chicken Omega & Wiener Schnitzel

Chicken Omega (shown on left) and Wiener Schnitzel (right) will be two of the five featured dishes at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe” dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.

“Taste of Romeo’s” menu

  • Artichokes Vinaigrette: Lightly sauteed hearts of artichoke in creamy Dijon vinaigrette. Served with an Italian roll.
  • Hellenic Salad: Gyros, feta cheese, and yogurt over crisp salad greens.
  • Chicken Omega: Strips of grilled chicken, spinach, pine nuts, garlic, and feta in rich white wine cream.
  • Wiener Schnitzel: Lightly breaded pan-fried pork cutlets, garlic-horseradish mashed potatoes, roasted pepper and garlic jardinière.
  • Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake: Creamy cheesecake made with real raspberry puree.

Cost is $25 per person, and you can add five wine tastings for another $8. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
