Thirteen SanTan Village eateries will showcase their food and drink at the sixth annual Taste of SanTan culinary festival, which will be held 6-10 p.m. Friday at the Gilbert shopping center.
Attendees can sample offerings from Brio Tuscan Grille, Cantina Laredo, Kona Grill, Grimaldi’s, Famous Dave’s, Gordon Biersch, Johnny Rockets, Paradise Bakery, and Red Robin.
Reps from the much-anticipated World of Beer, scheduled to open in January, will be pouring beers, and Caketini, Kea Lani Shave Ice, and Frost Gelato will provide desserts.
The outdoor fest, which also features live music and prize giveaways, will be set up on Paseo Drive between Barnes & Noble and Charming Charlie.
Tickets are $45 for individuals and $80 for couples in advance (available online here), or $50 and $100 at the door.
The event is a fundraiser for Save the Family, a Valley non-profit benefiting local homeless families.
