Tempe’s Front Porch launches brunch on Saturdays & Sundays

Tempe’s Front Porch – aka the patio at Monti’s La Casa Vieja – is starting weekend brunch this weekend (just in time for Saturday’s Tour de Fat at Tempe Beach Park).

Brunch menu

  • Seasonal fruit cup with tequila yogurt dip ($5)
  • Shrimp ceviche, tostadas, avocado, citrus, pico de gallo, and valentina ($12)
  • Banana and canela liquid “shake” with toast ($4)
  • 3 street-style green chile pork tacos, scrambled eggs, salsa verde, and cotija ($9)
  • 3 street-style chorizo tacos, scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, and salsa roja ($8)
  • Sliders with beef tenderloin, scrambled eggs, creamed spinach chorizo gravy, and homemade biscuits ($12)
  • Green chile chicken chilaquiles with two eggs over easy, cotija, salsa verde, diced onion, and crema ($10)
  • Two fried eggs (one topped with tomatillo salsa verde, the other with chili de arbol salsa) with Sonoran-style potatoes, queso fresco, crema, and spicy bolillo baguette ($9)
  • Waffles with strawberries, crema, candied pecans, and honey tamarindo maple syrup ($10)
  • Brioche French toast with caramelized plantains, candied pecans, pistachio dust, and applewood-smoked bacon ($12)
  • Omelette Gringo with tortilla-style spinach, mushroom, sun-dried tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and salsa de arbol ($10)
  • Chorizo-stuffed roll with eggs, spinach, potatoes, pickled carrots, jalapenos, and queso menonita ($10)
  • Chicken green chile stew with hominy, radishes, cabbage, avocado, red chile, and homemade tostadas ($9)
  • Bloody Mary and mimosa carafes ($10)

The brunch menu will be available 9 a.m.-noon Saturday and Sunday.
