Caramel Kiss Cheesecake will be the finale of the five featured dishes at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The weekly dinners, hosted in a private dining room by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the downtown Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
“Taste of Romeo’s†menu
- Greka: Baked feta cheese with sautéed whole garlic, assorted olives, roasted red peppers, scallions, rosemary and lemon peel with whole wheat pita chips.
- Teriyaki Chicken Salad: Black beans, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, avocado, feta, and lemon tossed together over romaine. Served with chicken sautéed in a gourmet teriyaki sauce.
- Shrimp Corfu: Shrimp, asparagus, scallions, red peppers, tomatoes, and capers sautéed in olive oil, white wine, garlic, and herbs with
- feta cheese.
- Chicken Veneto: Chicken breast, whole black peppercorns, capers, spring onion, mushrooms, and garlic in Marsala cream sauce.
- Caramel Kiss Cheesecake: Creamy caramel marbled with dark cheesecake.
