10 things you need to know about the Taste Chandler culinary festival on Saturday

1. Taste Chandler will be held 6-10 p.m. Saturday.

2. After four years in downtown Chandler, Taste has moved to a new location: Downtown Ocotillo, a commercial development southeast of Price and Queen Creek roads.

3. Food samples will be provided by 30-plus restaurants, including Latitude Eight, SanTan Brewing, Shimogamo, Vintage 95, and newly opened H&H City Pizza.

4. Besides unlimited food samples, attendees will receive 12 drink tickets for beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.

5. Advance tickets are $65 per person and must be purchased here. Tickets will be $80 at the door.

6. Couples buying advance tickets ($130) will get a gift bag with a bottle of wine, two souvenir glasses and other goodies.

7. A special toast to late San Tan Sun News owner Geoffrey Hancock will be held at 6:30 p.m.

8. On-site parking is free.

9. No one under age 21 will be allowed entrance.

10. Taste will be held rain or shine.
