This week’s ‘Taste of Romeo’s’ menu: Spicy Lamb Potatoes, Sun Flower Beef, Chocolate Dipped Florentines

Sun Flower Beef (pictured) will be one of the five featured dishes at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe” dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The weekly dinners, hosted in a private dining room by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the downtown Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.

“Taste of Romeo’s” menu

  • Spicy Lamb Potatoes: Gyros meat and potatoes with herbs and spices. Hand-formed and deep fried.
  • Mediterranean Salad: Hearts of artichoke and palm with roasted pepper, tomatoes, cucumber, scallion, avocado, romaine, lemon vinaigrette, and almonds.
  • Farfalle Pesce: Crabmeat, bay shrimp, asparagus, garlic, capers. and mushrooms sautéed in wine cream sauce with bow tie pasta.
  • Sun Flower Beef: Steak strips, green onions, red peppers, Portobello mushrooms, sun flower seeds, and capers in teriyaki sauce over brown rice.
  • Chocolate Dipped Florentines
