Sun Flower Beef (pictured) will be one of the five featured dishes at this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The weekly dinners, hosted in a private dining room by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, highlight a rotating selection from the downtown Gilbert restaurant’s regular menu.
“Taste of Romeo’s†menu
- Spicy Lamb Potatoes: Gyros meat and potatoes with herbs and spices. Hand-formed and deep fried.
- Mediterranean Salad: Hearts of artichoke and palm with roasted pepper, tomatoes, cucumber, scallion, avocado, romaine, lemon vinaigrette, and almonds.
- Farfalle Pesce: Crabmeat, bay shrimp, asparagus, garlic, capers. and mushrooms sauteÌed in wine cream sauce with bow tie pasta.
- Sun Flower Beef: Steak strips, green onions, red peppers, Portobello mushrooms, sun flower seeds, and capers in teriyaki sauce over brown rice.
- Chocolate Dipped Florentines
