De la Cruz Bistro, the troubled American restaurant and wine bar located kitty-corner from the Mesa Arts Center in downtown Mesa, has closed.
The space currently is being renovated. According to its sign, Margaritas Grill will open soon. No word yet on any details.
De la Cruz Bistro opened in August 2008 in the space that previously had been occupied by Posh Nosh.
In recent years, the restaurant has temporarily closed several times.
