San Francisco microbrewery Speakeasy Ales & Lager will hold its official Arizona release party from 6-10 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Cigar Bar in Gilbert.
Speakeasy, whose beer names reference the Prohibition era and its organized crime, will have six beers on tap: Big Daddy IPA, Prohibition Amber Ale, Double Daddy Double IPA, Butchertown Black Ale, Payback Porter, and Scarlett Red.
The rarity of the list is the Butchertown, an 8.2% ABV seasonal described as “halfway between a black IPA and a porter.”
