Salad and Go, the healthy salad drive-through in Gilbert, is teaming up with Funktional Fitness, Agriscape and Deep Space Marketing on a Be Healthy Gilbert Festival.

Held at Freestone Park this Saturday, the festival focuses on how to create a more healthy lifestyle for your family in fun and unique ways. Admission is free.

Starting at 8 a.m., you can enjoy free food samples from local vendors such as Salad and Go, Joe’s Real BBQ, SoCal Fish Taco Co., Bergies Coffee Roast House, Thai Chili, Trader Joe’s, Jamba Juice, and more.

A “Workout Through Your Run” starts at 9 a.m., followed by Yoga in the Park. There are free activities, including a bounce house, face-painting, and hot air balloon rides, for kids.

The festival concludes with a performance by local band Future Loves Past at noon.

Freestone Park is located on the east side of Lindsay between Guadalupe and Elliot.
