Kudos to Cork, which has been named one of OpenTable’s 2013 Diners’ Choice award winners as a Top 100 Restaurant with the Most Notable Wine Lists.
The south Chandler fine-dining restaurant is the only Arizona representative on the list, which is based on more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 U.S. restaurants.
“We put extensive, careful thought into our list and are constantly looking for new additions to keep it relevant and diverse while still being approachable,†said Jon Doholis, Cork’s beverage manager.
“It’s quite an honor to be included in this OpenTable lineup especially because it has been curated directly by the diners themselves who happen to be most important and influential audience.â€
Cork’s wine list features selections from small boutique wineries, including Arizona’s Pillsbury Wine Company and Sand-Reckoner Vineyards.
It also offers highly sought-after bottles like Sea Smoke “Southing†2010 Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills and Domain Drouhin “Arthur†2011 Chardonnay from Dundee Hills.
