AAA Arizona has announced its 2014 list of Five and Four Diamond restaurants, and once again Kai (pictured) leads the way.
In fact, the fine-dining restaurant at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa – located on the Gila River Indian Community adjacent to Chandler – is the state’s only Five Diamond winner, a feat it has achieved eight times.
Cork, a south Chandler fine-dining restaurant, is a Four Diamond winner for the fourth time. No other East Valley restaurants made the list.
The 19 other Four Diamond winners in Arizona include Different Pointe of View in Phoenix and L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek in Sedona, each of whom were honored for the 24th time.
Scottsdale leads all cities with seven Four Diamond designees: BLT Steak, Bourbon Steak, Deseo, J&G Steakhouse, Palm Court, Sassi, and Talavera.
Phoenix has three other Four Diamonds beside Different Pointe of View: Noca, Quiessence, and T. Cook’s. Paradise Valley also has three: Elements, Lon’s at the Hermosa, and Prado.
Tucson has the remaining Four Diamond honorees: Gold, Main Dining Room at Arizona Inn, Primo, and The Grill at Hacienda del Sol.
