It’s a busy week at La Ristra New Mexican Kitchen in Gilbert.
First, the six-month-old restaurant has introduced a new lunch menu that includes a combo meal (one entree and two sides for $6.99), farmers wrap ($8.99), Hatch green chile wrap ($7.99), stacked nachos ($6.99), Hatch green chile torta ($8.99), burrito bowl ($7.99), and New Mexican pizza ($8.99).

There’s also a new brunch menu with adovada Benedict ($8.99), breakfast burrito ($9.99), Santa Fe-style eggs ($10.99), Southwest scramble ($9.99), breakfast flautas ($10.99), and bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s ($14.99).

La Ristra will host its second tequila tasting from 2-5 p.m. Saturday. Participants will get to sample three different types of tequila from three different distillers – Avion, El Mayor, and Partida.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and seating is limited. There also will be food and drink specials for attendees.
The tasting is just $20 for members of La Ristra’s Agave Club (pictured).
