Helping a homeless animal is as easy as ordering a pizza this weekend at NYPD Pizza.
The local chain is donating 25% of all dine-in food sales Saturday and Sunday to the Arizona Humane Society at all 10 of its Valley locations.
NYPD invites diners to bring their dogs and dine outside at their eight locations that provide patio seating (all but Scottsdale/Shea and Phoenix Sky Harbor).
Water and water dishes will be provided.
The fundraiser does not include carry out or delivery food purchases.
The Arizona Humane Society takes in 44,000 homeless dogs and cats each year. A similar weekend promotion at NYPD last spring raised $3,500.
