Colorado’s Breckenridge Brewery will be the featured guest for Flanny’s monthly tap takeover Thursday. Head brewer Jimmy Walker will be bringing 26 beers, including two in firkins.
Among the highlights will be Breckenridge’s small-batch 471 imperial IPA (9.2% ABV), as well as two variations – 471 Off the Vine (wet hopped) and 471 Over the Moon (three-quarters 471 and one-quarter Oatmeal Stout, aged in a cabernet barrel).
Also on tap are two others in the Small Batch line: 72 Imperial, a highly rated chocolate cream stout made with chocolate from Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and Regal double pilsner.
Breckenridge’s newest beer, a nitrogenized version of its Vanilla Porter, will be available, as will Hoppy Wheat, which will be introduced as the brewery’s newest seasonal in January.
The firkins will be a pair of holiday-themed ales – Christmas Cookie and Pistachio Porter.
The tap takeover runs 6:30-8:30 p.m. See the full tap list here.
