Goodbye, BoomBozz Pizza & Taphouse. Hello, American Taphouse.
The latter opens at 4 p.m. today in the building on Gilbert Road, a quarter-mile south of Warner, that BoomBozz, a Louisville-based chain, had occupied since December 2011.
American Taphouse will host a complimentary open house today from 4-8 p.m. with food and beverage samplings, according to the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.
On its Facebook page, American Taphouse describes itself as a “family-oriented restaurant where great food, service, sports, music and late-night entertainment all meet in true American country spirit,” whatever that means.
It offers a menu of burgers ($8-$9), sandwiches ($8-$11), entrees ($12-$18), and pizzas, and nearly 40 beers on tap.
