Now we have a date: Dec. 16.
That’s when World of Beer will open its long-awaited Gilbert location next to Barnes & Noble at San Tan Village.
The 2,900-square-foot tavern will have 60 beers on tap and 500-plus in bottles.
It also will serve a variety of noshes, including German pretzels, fried pickle chips, onion rings, battered shrimp, and pig wings.
WOB made its Arizona debut in 2012 on downtown Tempe’s Mill Avenue and opened a second location in Tucson this year.
World of Beer Gilbert will be open 11 a.m.-2 a.m. daily.
