SanTan Brewing has tapped its award-winning winter seasonal for 2013.

Winter Warmer is based on a traditional English Old Ale recipe and then spiced with ginger and sweetened with orange blossom honey.

But don’t let the palate-pleasing flavor fool you – the ruby-brown ale packs a punch at 9.5% alcohol by volume.

As in years past, every snifter of Winter Warmer is served with freshly baked ginger snap cookies.

Not only are growler fills available at the downtown Chandler pub, they’ll also be available at retail accounts (those that can sell growlers) next week.

Winter Warmer is expected to be available through Christmas.
